Webb Automotive Group Named Inaugural Recipient of CATA Community Impact Award

CHICAGOLAND, Ill. — August 18, 2026 — Webb Automotive Group has been named the inaugural recipient of the Community Impact Award at the Chicago Automobile Trade Association’s (CATA) first-ever Drive for Excellence Awards, presented July 21, 2026, during the CATA Annual Meeting and Golf Outing at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club.

The new awards program recognizes CATA member dealerships for achievements in leadership, innovation, customer service and community engagement. Webb Automotive Group was recognized for its ongoing involvement with charitable organizations and community programs throughout Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.

Webb’s community initiatives include Ride for the Troops, which supports the USO, as well as support for Hyundai Hope on Wheels, Toys for Tots, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, breast cancer awareness initiatives, local schools and other community organizations. Webb employees have helped raise more than $50,000 for the USO through Ride for the Troops.

The CATA Drive for Excellence Awards were launched in 2026 and include five categories recognizing accomplishments across the automotive retail industry. Webb Automotive Group is the first recipient of the Community Impact Award, which recognizes a dealership group for charitable partnerships, volunteerism and community engagement.
